As well as the fine handed out by the FIA, its World Motor Sport
Council has been asked to look into what happened at Hockenheim when Felipe Massa handed Fernando Alonso the lead of the race - shortly after he was told his team-mate was quicker than him.
Although Ferrari could have appealed the decision, it has decided against doing so.
Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali said: "As for the Stewards' decision, given after the race, in the interests of the sport, we have decided not to go through a procedure of appealing against it, confident that the World Council will know how to evaluate the overall facts correctly."AUTOSPORT-F1
